Our mission at HRRE is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned, abused, and neglected rabbits in crisis. We believe that education is key to responsible pet ownership. Our programs teach the public about the needs and care of rabbits, ensuring they are seen as loving companions and not just starter pets.
HRRE operates from a dedicated, climate-controlled space within our home, designed to ensure the comfort and safety of every rabbit in our care. Cage and hutch free they are allowed the freedom to move, stretch, and binkie. This intimate hands-on environment allows us to provide individualized care, close monitoring, and the attention each rabbit deserves.
Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between you and your new rabbit/s.
It requires you to send a photo of your set-up for the rabbit/s, an appointmet for a meet and greet to choose your fur baby/s, and complete an adoption contract. All rabbits are indoor rabbits and will only be approved to indoor homes.

Your generous donations help us to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for neglected rabbits. Every dollar makes a difference in providing medical care and ensuring their safety. Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of these loving companions. Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
We offer professional scent gland cleaning and basic sanitary clips for rabbits that may struggle with hygiene due to anatomical factors. If sedation is required, we will refer your pet to a qualified veterinarian. Your rabbit's health and comfort are our top priorities, and we are dedicated to providing high-quality care.
Thoroughly brush/comb out any tangles, perform blow-outs to remove extra dander and loose fur or carry out light clipping for a polished look, nail clips, scent gland cleaning, and sanitary clip if necessary.
At HRRE, we provide a continuous 24/7 bonding service for rabbits. It is mandatory that all fees are paid in full and a bonding agreement is completed.
The bonding fee is set at $200 for a pair of rabbits, with an additional charge of $50 for each subsequent rabbit. Only rabbits that are a minimum of 8 weeks post-spay/post-neuter are eligible to participate. All proceeds from this service are directed to the rescue organization to cover essential veterinary bills, medications, and feed supplies.
When space is available we offer rabbit boarding. All rabbits must be spayed and or neutered. A $210 refundable deposit is to be paid in advance to hold a space. Daily fees are $20 for one rabbit and $10 per additional rabbit. Fees can be paid daily or on pickup at this time the deposit will be returned in full if all daily fees have been paid. You must supply your own feed, hay, and any medications your rabbit requires.
This cost will vary depending on severity.
The rabbit will need to be evaluated in person to determine if sedation will be required and a vet referral made.
Every dollar from our services goes directly back into the rescue—helping us provide life-saving medical care, spay and neuter surgeries, nourishing food, fresh hay, enrichment, and essential grooming supplies. Your support means we can continue giving these rabbits the second chance they deserve.
